These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the iOS app “Sound Interior” (the “App”) provided by Studio OTOLO (“we”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the App
The App draws abstract art from the sound picked up by your device’s microphone and layers it over the camera video or an AR space, saving the result as videos and images. All audio, video and photo processing happens on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
2. Eligibility
Anyone who may use the App Store under Apple’s terms may use the App. Minors should use the App with a guardian’s consent.
3. Pricing and auto-renewing subscriptions
- The App’s core features are free. Some templates, high-quality recording and export features are available only with a paid subscription (Plus or Pro).
- Subscriptions are offered monthly and yearly. Prices are shown on the purchase screen and charged in your local currency.
- Yearly plans include a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged to your Apple ID.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Apple. Please contact Apple Support for refunds.
- Videos and images saved on the free plan carry a small “Sound Interior” watermark.
4. Your works
You own the videos, images and templates you create with the App (“Works”). You may use them freely, including commercially, for social media and printing. Please respect the rights of others whose works or likeness appear in your Works.
5. Prohibited conduct
- Decompiling, reverse-engineering or modifying the App beyond what the law permits
- Using the App for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others
- Copying or redistributing the App’s templates or bundled assets outside the App
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will always work correctly or that your Works will never be lost. We are not liable for Works lost through device failure, loss, or deletion of the App. Please keep copies of important Works in Photos or elsewhere.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Updated Terms take effect when posted in the App or on this page.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over our location as the court of first instance.
If you use the App as a consumer, nothing in this section limits the rights given to you by the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including your right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
